Accessibility statement

We make every effort to ensure that this online presence or mobile application is accessible. This accessibility statement is a requirement of the Bremen Equal Opportunities for People with Disabilities Act. The technical requirements for accessibility are taken from BITV 2.0 (the German Disability Equality Act).

This statement of digital accessibility applies to the entire online presence of the Tourism section of the Marketing and Tourism department at Bremeninvest, published under www.bremen-tourism.de and www.bremen-convention.de.

How accessible is the offering?
This offering is not fully accessible. Hardly any of the requirements of the BITV 2.0 act have been satisfied. Compliance with the requirements was investigated by one of Bremen's representatives for people with disabilities in the period between 2020 and June 2021 and made an assessment based on simplified monitoring. This means the offering was checked against a selection of the inspection criteria set out in EN 301 549.

Which areas are not fully accessible?
An overview of areas that are not fully accessible was requested at the end of July 2021.

Inconsistency with BITV 2.0
Specific areas that are not, or not yet, fully accessible are currently being investigated and revised to improve them. The results will then be listed here accordingly.

Disproportionate burden
Specific areas that are not designed to be fully accessible, because this would involve a disproportionate burden (BremBGG § 13 (5) (Bremen Equal Opportunities for People with Disabilities Act)), will be listed here accordingly.

When was the accessibility statement created?
The statement was created on July 27th, 20212.
